About Diploma In Medical Assistant

Medical assistants support doctors and nurses to ensure that healthcare facilities run smoothly. They are responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Medical assistants typically work in doctor’s offices, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The ‘Diploma In Medical Assistant’ approved by the Malaysian Medical Assistant Board and the Ministry of Higher Education.

Programs Overview

At the end of our ‘Diploma in Medical Assistant’, students will be able to:

  1. Understand the basics of medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, biosciences, pathology & microbiology).
  2. Develop essential communicative and professional skills required for their daily jobs in the future.
  3. Gain clinical experience, through placements with government and private hospitals in Malaysia, in all medical domains.
Entry Requirement

MALAYSIAN STUDENTS

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

SPM or EquivalentGCE 'O' Levels or Equivalent
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with a minimum of FIVE (5) credits in the following subjects:GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent with a minimum of Grade C in the following five subjects:
(a) Bahasa Malaysia / Bahasa Melayu(a) Science Subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/General Science)
(b) Science Subjects (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/General Science)(b) Mathematics / Additional Mathematics
(c) Mathematics / Additional Mathematics(c) Any other three subjects
(d) Any other two subjectsAND
AND(d) Pass in English
(e) Pass in English and History
